Lo grows

It is with mixed emotions that I announce Lo is leaving infancy behind to become a toddler. She is teetering, and I mean that literally, on the edge of walking.

She has sprouted some molars and and has expanded her menu to include most things. She drinks from a cup. She can’t talk but babbles in a conversational way. She makes her likes and, sometimes, her dislikes known.

Likes lunch.

Loves animals.

It is commonplace to note the changes within the first year of life, but it is a miracle nonetheless. She arrived and grew. She is surrounded by love and loves in return. Lo is becoming herself and I am delighted to be along for the ride.
